Description

The "Future Map of the World," as envisioned by Gordon-Michael Scallion, is a fascinating exploration of prophetic geography, blending spiritual foresight with predictions of geophysical upheavals.

Created from a series of visions that Scallion experienced beginning in 1979, this map predicts dramatic changes to the world's landscape through three significant phases of magnetic pole shifts, predicted to occur between 1998 and 2001. These shifts, according to Scallion, will catalyze severe seismic activities and profound alterations in weather patterns, which would lead to the melting of the ice caps and dramatic transformations across continents.

This map depicts catastrophic events including the fragmentation of California and the submersion of Japan, setting off a "domino effect" of geographical changes that would supposedly culminate by 2012. Europe and parts of Asia are shown as nearly submerged, while legendary continents such as Atlantis and Lemuria are predicted to rise from the ocean depths. The map also suggests significant land emergence in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, dramatically reshaping familiar terrains and possibly creating new landmasses around New Zealand and south of the Falkland and South Georgia Islands.

Scallion's work extends beyond mere map-making into the realm of health and societal predictions, suggesting that the magnetic shifts could affect human health and social structures, leading to a more "lunar society" characterized by enhanced intuitive capabilities. The map also intriguingly predicts the appearance of a "new sun," proposing a binary solar system scenario that could alter human perceptions and the color spectrum.

Continental Transformations:

  • North America: The map predicts extensive inundation and loss of land, particularly affecting the West Coast states such as California, Nevada, Utah, and parts of Arizona and Colorado. It also forecasts a dramatic receding of coastlines, impacting the Mississippi Valley and transforming the continental layout significantly.
  • Europe and Russia: These regions are depicted as largely submerged, with new bodies of water covering vast areas previously occupied by major cities and landscapes.
  • Asia: The coastal and some interior regions of China face extensive flooding, while the Ring of Fire leads to severe Earth changes, affecting land from the Philippines to Japan, which is largely submerged according to the predictions.

Emergence of New Lands:

  • Atlantis and Lemuria: Both of these mythical continents are shown as rising from the depths of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, respectively, bringing forth new landmasses and altering the global maritime routes and ecosystems.
  • Southern Hemisphere: New landmasses near New Zealand and south of the Falkland and South Georgia Islands are expected to emerge, reshaping the maritime geography of the Southern Hemisphere.

Societal and Environmental Impact:

  • The magnetic shifts are predicted to bring the Moon's orbit closer to Earth, fostering a societal shift towards more intuitive and feminine characteristics across global cultures.
  • New health challenges and mood variations are anticipated due to the shifts in Earth’s magnetic fields affecting human bodies.

Astrophysical Changes:

  • A new sun is predicted to appear, suggesting Earth will transition into a binary sun system. This new sun is expected to alter the visible color spectrum and have profound effects on daily light perception and possibly even on human skin tone.

Gordon Michael Scallion Biography

Gordon-Michael Scallion (September 26, 1942 - ???) was an American futurist.

Scallion initially worked in electronics but changed his focus after losing his vision and hearing suddenly in 1979, which led to him having visions about future global events. This experience is often described as a 'psychic awakening.' Scallion believed these visions came from something he called 'The Matrix.'

He is known for predicting events like the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City and the election of George Bush in 1988. Scallion started the Matrix Institute to share his visions through 'Future Maps' of North America and the world, which he updated over time. His predictions included dramatic changes like the return of ancient civilizations and people gaining psychic powers from a 'blue star.'

Activity from Scallion can be traced until about 2011, but after that, he disappeared from the public eye. The website for the Matrix Institute is no longer active.
