Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Decorative double hemisphere map of the world, showing California as an Island, partial coast of New Zealand attached to Terrar Antarctica, incomplete Australia, NW and NE Passages and land bridge extending from Asia to America, except for narrow strait above California. Decorative scenes show the 4 elements (fire, air, water and earth) in the four corners and wind heads between the hemispheres. The map is reminiscent of the work of Jacques Peeters in Amsterdam, but we could not confirm the source.
