Rare map of the northernmost part of Brazil, shortly after its Declaration of Independence from Portugal in October 1822.

The map is centered on the Para River, Belem and the Baia de Marajo and Baia do Guahara.

This is one of the earliest obtainable regional maps of the state, following Brazil's Independence from Portugal and rarely appears on the market.
