Interesting early map of Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, from C.F. Weiland.
The Darling River, as well as the Murrumbidgee, Lachlan and Castlereagh are all delineated; Victoria is lettered Grant's Land, with Cape Otway, Hobson Bay, Western Port and the Goulburn River all identified. Includes inset maps of New South Wales, Van Diemen's Land, and the Swan River Colony.
The map was published at a time when German immigrants would have been interested in settling in South Australia.
