Dear maphisters and -traders,
This summer I've added some short-title catalogues
of atlases and travelguides to my website, and intend to keep these relatively
current. They are a union list of my own books with those of The Newberry
Library in Chicago, and they are sorted now into such categories as French or
German or Italian atlases, English county atlases, American geographies
etc.
They should be useful to you as bibliographies,
essentially to be aware of books' existence and their editions, size and
publication data, and numbers of maps.
As before, I'll welcome your comments or
suggestions.
