Hi, Joost

Unfold it gradually. Unfold it as much as you safely can, put it on a table 
and wait a bit. After a few days put a little weight on it and wait again. 
Especially if you get some damp weather, the vellum will gradually unfold and 
you can keep putting a little more weight on it as it flattens.  The whole 
process can take a few weeks, but if you have damp weather it will go faster.
