I am pleased to announce availability of  SPECIAL LIST XV - THE "PREQUEL"
TO UPCOMING CATALOGUE XV - But Without a Phantom or Menace but with items
at discount prices through September 15 only.

*  The maps, globes and few books in this special List will be included, if
still unsold, in an expanded and illustrated Catalogue XV which, hopefully,
will be posted to our new "being created" website by mid-to-late October.
A "hard copy" edition also may be published.

*  Catalogue XV will feature a special narrative type section in
celebration of California's Sesquicentennial.  Although other items, mostly
recent acquisitions, will be included, the major portion of this List and
the full Catalogue will be devoted to maps, views and books pertaining to
or including California from the sixteenth to later nineteenth centuries.

*  This List was originally mailed only to prior customers but now is
available to all who request it.

*  Except as noted for the new reference books, the discount is 10% off the
listed prices;  15% to bona fide map, print and book dealers.

and not to the list as a whole.

* I will email the 14 page list to you as a text attachment.  If you use a
PC, I will send the attachment as a PC text document.  If MAC, it is a
Works/Word text document.  Please let me know if the document won't open.
Tell me your text application including version number and I should be able
to translate to your format.

* Images are available of most items.  I will be happy to send you those in
which you are interested.
