Detailed map of the region around Boston, including the Harbor and the regions extending as far as Brookline, Dorchester, Cambridge, White Hill Fort, the Mystic River, Chelsea, Deer Island, Gallops Island, Long Island and Thompson's Island. The map shows towns, roads, forts, powder magazines, rivers, and a host of other details. A fine example (narrow margin at lower right, as usual) in attractive color. The map appeared in Dr. Gordon's History of the American War, one of the best contemporary British Accounts of the Revolution.
