If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

Scarce antique engraved map of Africa issued by the French geographer Felix Delamarche in 1829.

In some ways the maps reflects the increasing uncertainty European cartographers had about the nature of the interior of Africa, but the map also includes many mythical and erroneous features.
