Description
Scarce example of the Nazi-era version Ernest Dudley Chase's pictorial map of Germany.
There are a number of different editions and variants of the map. The main differentiating factor is the inclusion of swastika in the top border, which in other versions is a German eagle.
Attractive and extraordinarily detailed map, shows landmark buildings with few exceptions, the image of a blimp, steamboats, rivers, and mountains. Includes inset vignettes of historic architecture.
