Nice example of Amos Doolittle's rare map of Connecticut, one of the earliest maps of Connecticut printed in America.

Includes excellent detail throughout, including towns, roads, court houses, meeting places, rivers, lakes, islands, etc.

Decorative title cartouche incorporates the coat of arms of Connecticut.

The map is quite rare on the market, this being only the second example of the map we have offered in 20 years.

Condition Description
Repaired tear within the image, extending into the cartouche. Right margin extended.
