Description

Fine pre-WWII political map, showing the political situation in Northern Africa and the plans of Mussolini to conquer Abyssinia.

On the upper right part is a picture of Mussolini addressing his soldiers with a call to conquer Abyssinia stating, "...thou shalt conquer and possess Abyssinia!".

In the center portion is a map of northern Africa.

On the left part is a picture of Hailé Selassie I, emperor of Abyssinia, saying, "I want peace and submit myself to the jurisdiction of the League of Nations".
