Description

Decorative map of the region around Boston, illustrating the rides of Paul Revere, William Dawes and Dr. Samuel Prescott on April 18 and 19, 1775, on the eve of the American Revolution, along with an annotated pictorial map of Boston, with information regarding the events and important places during the early days of the Revolution.

The map is apparently quite scarce. This is the first time we have seen this map on the market, although we note copies at the Library of Congress and several major American institutional collections.
