Nebraska runs to the Rockies and the Canadian Border. Kansas runs to the Rockies. Utah stretches from California to the Rockies. New Columbia stretches from the US Border to Russian America (Alaska). Oddly shaped Dakotah and no sign of West Virginia. An excellent map of pre-Civil War North America. A wide margined example in vivid color. This is the rare 1859 edition which bears Johnson & Browning's imprint, shortly before they created their own New Illustrated Family Atlas of the World. Classical Colton decorative border.
