Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Highly detailed large format lithographed map of Oakland, stretching north from Bay Farm Island, Alameda, to the Summit Reservoir north of Berkeley.

The map was published by Woodward, Watson & Co., Oakland real estate dealers at 1172 Broadway.

The city is depicted after many of the neighborhoods had been laid out, but many large plots of land are still owned by individuals, who are named.

The University of California, Berkeley is shown.

Condition Description

Light toning at folds. Two very small areas of loss along folds.
