War of 1812 Map of the Niagara River.
Detailed map of the the area along the Niagara River between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
The map appeared in William James', A Full and Correct Account of the Military Occurrences of the Late War Between Great Britain and the United States.
The map locates Forts Erie, Fort George and Fort Niagara, as well as Buffalo, the falls, connecting roads, British troop locations and topographical features. An inset depicts a vertical section of the slope creating the falls.
