If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Rare promotional Railroad Map of Cuba, drawn by Palacio Valdes in 1931.

Includes advertising for the La Nueva Francia company, which apparently had an automotive division (agency for Chrysler, Dodge Bros., De Soto and Plymouth), as well as selling clothing, (Ropa, Sederia, Peleteria, Sombrereria, Quincalla, and Objectos Para Regalos (Clothing, Dry Goods, Furs, Hats, Hardwares, Gifts, etc.) and the Hotel Plaza.

A fine primitive style imprint--we locate no other examples.

Tobacco Map of Cuba

Vintage advertisement for La Corona cigars showing tobacco-growing regions in Cuba. The ad was issued by Henry Clay and Bock & Company, a cigar manufacturer that started in Havana, but after a strike at that factory and to avoid high tariffs, opened a Trenton facility in 1932. In 1940, New York businessman Samuel Kaplan bestowed upon Winston Churchill a supply of 5,000 La Corona cigars with the Prime Minister's name emblazoned on the band.
