Flawless example of the iconic Robinson's Los Angeles view, printed by Trans Continental Cartographers of Vancouver, B.C.
The view provides a fine caricature of the City of Angeles, from Watts Tower and Western Airlines along the bottom, to the Griffith Park Observatory, Dodger Stadium, the Hollywood Bowl, Capitol Records and Universal Studios, at the top.
A near constant traffic jam is shown throughout the image, along with other icons of the time, including the Brown Derby, Olivera Street, Schwabb's Pharmacy, the Farmer's Market, etc.
