Description

Striking full color example of the first edition Greenleaf's map of Indiana, which appeared in his Universal Atlas, first issued in 1842.

The county system is now nearly complete, although several changes are yet to be made. This map for instance still depicts a massive National Reservation for the Miamis in the center of the state. The details of the map are excellent, showing counties roads, rivers, railroads, canals, etc.
