Description:

Decorative map of Bermuda, featuring a large title cartouche showing Neptune, mermaids and a sea monster.

Includes the coats of arms of Bermuda and England and lists the islands proprietors of the various tribes.  A most attractive variant on the Norwood survey map, complete with cartouches and vignettes of mermaids, sea monsters, seventeenth century Adventurers with flags and full dress uniform collaborating with Indians in the measuring and charting of the land they conquered.
