Description:

 Decorative map of Shropshire, with a large plan of Showesbury, coats of arms, compass rose and a battle scene.

The Battle Scene in the lower right corner shows the engagement of 1403 in Olfeild, where Henry Hotspure and Thomas Earle of Worcester did battle agains King Henry IV.   The battle resulted in the death of Hotspure and beheading of Lord Thomas.


Condition Description: Minor toning. Tape in lower margin, just touching printed image
