Description: Scarce map of China and Korea, likely from a composite atlas (includes a manuscript number int the top right corner), although the map was issued in Jansson's Atlas Maior as early as 1658.. The map is hand colored by provinces. Excellent detail throughout the map, which includes the Islands of Formosa and Hainan. The Great Wall of China is shown. A wonderful near fine example of unusually fine heavy paper. Condition Description: Old Color. Some soiling near bottom. Several marginal repairs, with lower neatline nicked at lower right corner, with a tiny bit of loss.
