Description
Master subdivision map for Bernal Heights, one of the neighborhoods just south of the Mission District and Downtown San Francisco.
The map is apparently the earliest printed map of this master sub-division. The map shows streets, subdivisions, lot numbers, land ownership, railroads. Covers area bounded generally by Mission St., Crescent Ave., San Bruno Ave. (and area immediately east), and 26th St.
The Bancroft holds a smaller map of the same area (19 x 15 inches), also from 1889 (OCLC 24778102), but this would seem to be the larger edition, published by the developer.
Condition Description
Some soiling, but generally very good.
