Striking example of Ortelius' map of Brabant, including his home town of Antwerp, from  Ortelius' Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, the first modern atlas.

The map is oriented with east at the top and covers much of the south part of the Netherlands and the north part of Belgium.

Condition Description: Narrow margins and some minor tears, repaired on verso.
