Striking map of Italy, Sardinia, Corsica and Sicily. A decorative map from Brion De La Tour, one of the most prolific cartographic publishers of the mid 18th Century.

Louis Brion de La Tour (1743-1803)  was the official cartographer of King Louis XVI of France. He had the title of "Ingenieur Geographe du Roy he produced several important atlases in collaboration with Louis-Charles Desnos (1750-1790) and published the "Atlas General Civil et Eclesiastique" and the "Atlas General" and many plans of Paris. His son Louis Brion de La Tour (1763-1823) was an engraver who worked during the French Revolution.
