Description: Detailed Civil War Battle Map, extending from Murfreesborough and Shelbyville to Maysville and Camden in the west and to Dalton, Tilton, Cleveland and Pikeville in the east. Centered on Japser. Shows towns, road, railroads, mountains, rivers, etc. The line of the marches are shown in Blue and Red and the battle placements and actions around Ringgold, Snowhill and La Fayette are identified, with notes. The map is apparently quite rare, as it does not appear in Stephenson's list of Civil War Maps in the Library of Congress and we could find no reference to the map in other standard works. Discoloration in the upper right corner and at the centerfold. Narrow upper margin.
