Description

Early-20th-century photostat of the greatest 19th-century map of San Diego County (then including all of present-day Imperial County as well) by local surveyors Charles J. Fox (also a storied beekeeper) and Harry J. Willey.

The map includes names and delineations of ranchos, as well as topography, Julian Mines, etc. The present-day Salton Sea is just a dry lakebed.
