Decorative double hemisphere map of the World, which appeared in Carey's General Atlas.
The map shows some of Captain James Cook's tracks in the Antarctic Regions and an interesting Northwest Coast of America, New Zealand, and Australia.
Condition Description
engraving on early 19th-century paper. Original hand-color in full. Some soiling and staining. Mended tear and small loss in the bottom blank margin.
