Description
Whimsical map of the Campus of the University of Texas at Austin, published in Austin by Hemphill's Bookstore.
The map provides a fascinating look at the University of Texas circa 1940. We date the map based upon the location of Hill Hall (built between 1939 and 1956), but not Moore Hall, named for Dean Victor Ivan Moore who served as the Dean of Student Life from 1927 until his death on August 6, 1943.
Condition Description
Tape on reverse covering minor hole in the center on the right. Hinges at top.
