Japan (Niphon) is shown on a nearly horizontal model, with Korea properly shown as a peninsula. The Great Wall is shown. Detailed curiously shaped Philippines, with a distorted Mindanao Island. Excellent detail in the Indian Ocean. In the near East, there are many trade routes shown, extendig from Turkey and Arabia, through Persia and on to India. A nice example of this scarce detailed wall map of Asia. Condition Description: 4-sheet map, unjoined. Minor foxing in right tables.
