The map extends from Costa Rica and Guatemala in the North to Provincia de las Esmeraldos, Val de Atris, and Val de Neyva in the South, showing the full course of the Rio Grande Marta and Rio Grande Madalena and the Gouvernaci of Popayan and Nuevo Reyno Granada, along with the Governacion de Sancta Martha, Cartagena, Tierra Firma, Veragua and the Audiencias of Costa Rica and Guatimala. Rich with details, real and imagined. Two large cartouches, compass rose and sailing ship.
