Ogilby's America, first published in 1671, was one of the most significant works on America published in English during the 17th Century. Much of the material is drawn from Arnoldus Montanus' work on America, De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weereld., but there are significant additions. Includes an ornate cartouche, compass rose and sailing ships. Nice detail, based upon Blaeu's map.
