Rare example of a map on silk, showing St. Louis, Missouri on the Mississippi River. The street car lines are shown in blue. Issued compliments of E.S. Guignon & Bro., Real Estate Agents. Not in "Threads of History: America Recorded on Cloth 1775 to the Present" by H.R. Collins.

Emile Simon Guignon was a real estate developer in St. Louis at the end of the 19th Century.  The present map was printed 6 years after the creation of the firm of E.S. Guignon & Bro.


Condition Description: Minor soiling and separation a fold intersections.
