Description: Interesting early map of Mexico, New Spain, Florida, Central America, etc. The map extends to Santa Fe and the Rio Grande, with a bit of California (shown as an island). Texas is part of Louisiana. Nice detail in Florida. The Mississippi River is pushed well into Texas, based upon La Salle, wit the Ohio River flowing into the Mississippi in the general vicinity of Dallas! Nice deail in the Caribbean and along the Gulf Coast. A scarce map in attractive wash colors.
