Description
Fine early promotional bird's eye view and map, promoting the development of the Belvedere Peninsula.
The map across thetop identifies lots within the subdivision, of which a number are shown as sold. Below, a number of views are shown, including a panorma showing Belvedere from Angel Island and a larger view of the Bay, extending to San Francisco, Alcatraz, Oakland, Sausalito and Goden Gate.
The view is very rare. We locate only the example in the Bancroft Library collection.
Condition Description
Lower left corner replaced in facsimile. Cleaned and archivally backed, to support fold weakness and thin spots. Some minor fold splits and marginal tears, repaired on verso.
